OverviewThe priests and priestesses of the Temple of Dreams hold two major principles: first, all history must be recorded and preserved and, second, the voices of the gods must always be heard to help shape the history of humanity and bring it to greater glory. While the priesthood of Oneirod often serves as a body of historians and writers of official records, they are typically not responsible for retaining those records. Rather, once volumes are completed they are sent to temples dedicated to the Twin Sisters for archival and preservation. It is for this service of history-writing, however, that priests of Oneirod are popular advisors for magistrates who wish to be remembered well or vibrantly in history scrolls. For their dedication to the gods' voices, the priesthood of Oneirod is entrusted with the oracles. They are responsible for the selection, training, and caretaking of oracles. They decide which temples will receive visitations from the oracles, and how long those oracles will stay.
